these are some photos i took at the tea party protest that happened on the state capital front lawn. i'm not one for protesting. i don't care the issue or debate, i just don't see the point. if you want something to change, you change it. "." the thing about America though is that everyone is trying to make a buck. everyone wants money! as a member of the U.S. military i can't really fight against the government and don't want to. i know that there are corrupt people in our congress and legislation. these are the people that should be brought to justice. this idea might be a little crazy, but shouldn't the congressmen be only paid enough to just get by? maybe the government could set up housing for them to live in, the government should pay for their food, and that should be all they get. they are serving the people and they should not be living better than the people they speek for.
am i protesting something by posting this blog?
I wish you had captured the older people in the front of your middle photo. It would have been cool to capture the different demographics present at the event. It would have expressed how this protest wasn't just a bunch of old, rich people complaining about taxes, but regular guys, people you might see at the bar later, are also worried about governmental spending.
